Creating Notes The simplest way to create a new note is to press the New Note button on the Pad: Alternatively, there are Insert New Note (the equivalent of the New Note button) and Append New Note commands in the Pad menu, as well as an alternate mode of the Select Pad feature that will open the pad with a freshly created note as the current note.
