Mailroom The Mailroom is a Jaguar (10.2) or later feature. The Jotz Mailroom is a convenience feature that allows you to quickly send Jotz content by email. The Mailroom is integrated with the OS-X Address Book, and provides the ability to send Rich Text email with attachments as well as plain text email. The Mailroom is not a complete email client -- it does not receive email, nor does it store sent email. The Mailroom preserves unsent emails, as well as the current email being edited, so you can easily use it to compile an email made up of bits of information from Jotz, even over several days. Whenever you use the Send Selected Text to Jotz Mailroom or Send Current Note To Jotz Mailroom, the items sent are appended to the end of your current email. The email editing area in the Mailroom is a full OS-X Rich Text edit area, supporting fonts/styles/attributes/colors and enclosures. Unlike the Suggestion Box, the Jotz Mailroom does not use your email client to send email. Instead, email is sent directly from Jotz using the Apple Messaging Framework. This framework is only available in Mac OS-X 10.2 and later. The Mailroom offers the option to automatically cc: yourself with each email sent. This provides a record of your sent email, (in your normal email client), something that is not otherwise provided by the Mailroom.
