Pad Settings Sheet

The Pad Settings Sheet is for settings that apply to the current Pad, instead of the entire application. It is available from the Pad menu, as well as from the MultiButtons.

The first tab of the Pad Settings Sheet sets the Default Font for the Pad. The Default font is the font that will be used when no other font setting can be inferred -- generally only when typing into a freshly created Note, or when pasting unstyled text into a freshly created Note. This can also be both set from and applied to selected text using the Text Settings Drawer

The second tab of the Pad Settings Sheet controls Pad Decor. These are purely decorative settings that are intended for entertainment and esthetic purposes.

Some Jotz users also use them to make it easier to instantly distinguish between different Pads.

There are a nearly infinite number of combinations available via this tab, some of which are simply terrible. Fortunately, all these settings modify is the display of the pad, not the contents, so doing something silly like selecting black text on black paper is not a fatal blunder. Just change the settings to something else, and your information will reappear.

As of this writing, the other three tabs in this sheet do not do anything.

Stay Tuned.
